Hurting...

The hardest lesson to learn, " Hurting people, hurt people". I must learn to understand that and show compassion.

A Few of My Favorite Things...

A Few of My Favorite Summer Things:
Sunshine and Floweres, Fires and Friends.
Bike rides with tunes and a breeze
Cheesburgers with bacon, mushrooms and yam fries
Sweet tea and swimming pools
The open window on a open road, singing
A soft carpeted green lawn and volleyball or badminton
BBQ's, laughter and flip flops
Can you tell that I long for summer weather?

A Couple Guidelines...

When in doubt - show up early.
Think less.
Feel more.
Ask once.
Give thanks often.
Expect the best.
Appreciate everything.
Never give up.
Make it fun.
Lead.
Invent.
Regroup.
Wink.
Chill.
Smile.
And live as if your success was inevitable, and so it shall be.

Happy global domination

Today for Tomorrow

I know in my head what my heart doesn't feel.
Doesn't make it any less true
For feelings are fickle and last a only awhile.
Give me sometime and I know that they will catch up.
You said you'd never leave, nor forsake and you never changed,
so why do I feel today what tomorrow has not brought.
There are no guarantees, and I know that I am right where I need to be
The time, the place, they all serve a purpose.
Make it right, make it calm and make it peaceful
Promise me tomorrow you'll feel the same way as today
and
Then can I feel in my heart tomorrow what my head says today.

Doubts

“We're not necessarily doubting that God will do the best for us; we are wondering how painful the best will turn out to be” - C.S. Lewis

I say, "Thy will be done"

“There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, "Thy will be done," and those to whom God says, "All right, then, have it your way” - C.S. Lewis
